Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Purpose

The purpose of this agreement is to define user's rights/oblications and resposibilities in using SMAPP system which provides internet-related services(As called
"Services") for collaboration between Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.(As called "Samsung") and partners.
  
  
Article 2: Definitions

1) "SMAPP", the business systems which is operated by Samsung Electronics, is vertual workspace constructed on the IT basis and provides working process
     as well as space to share quality information to support collaboration.
2) "Partner" means Samsung Electronics to apply for the service providers said.
3) "User" as a partner or partners of the employees through the sign-up process established by Samsung Electronics to provide information as a registered party,
     "SMAPP" is a person who uses the services provided by.
 
  
Article 3: Conditions as stated and as amended, and the description

Article 4 : the service provide and change

Article 5 : Interruption of Service

Article 7 : Loss of eligibility

Article 8 : User's obligations

This agreement, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. ("Samsung" is called), the SMAPP to provide Internet-related services ("Services") in using a Samsung Electronics
and the user's rights / obligations and responsibilities that the regulations purposes. 
  
  
Article 9 : Privacy

Article 10 : Samsung Electronics's obligations

Article 12 : Attribution of intellectual property rights and use restrictions

Article 13 : Disclaimer

Article 14 : Dispute Resolution

Samsung complaints and opinions are submitted by users of the first to handle the matter. However, if prompt treatment is difficult for users to schedule the

Article 15 : Governing Law

Not specified in these Terms and Conditions of the relevant laws of the Republic of Korea and follow business practices.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and its Euroean subsidiaries(Joint Data Controllers)  (“Samsung,” “we,” “us,” “our”) know how important privacy is to its customers 
and their employees and partners, and we strive to be clear about how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. This Privacy Policy provides 
an overview of our information practices with respect to personal information collected through SMAPP Portal with commercial customers or other services that link 
or refer to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Business Services").  
It is important that you check back often for updates to the Privacy Policy. If we update the Privacy Policy we will let you know about changes we consider to be 
material by placing a notice on this website or related online services and/or by email. You can check the “effective date” posted at the top to see when the 
Privacy Policy was last updated. 


What information do we collect about you?

We collect various types of personal information in connection with the Business Services, including: Personal information that you provide to create profiles or 
accounts to allow you to use Business Service. These information include 
    - User ID & Password, Name, Title, Phone, e-Mail
    - Company's Name, Address, Country, Phone, Fax, Website/SNS Information
    - Answers to key questions(RFI) which include company’s :
        · Basic overview information
        · Business operation & Product line
        · Product development & QA Process
        · Sales & Channel information  


How do we use your information?

We will use information we collect for the following purposes : 
    • to register or authenticate you or your device for a Business Service;
    • to provide a Business Service or feature you request;
    • to respond to your questions or requests for information;
    • to provide you with notice progress of SMAPP product proposal, certification and any other work process related announcements

Samsung processes personal data for the purposes described above.  Samsung’s legal basis to process personal data includes processing that is: necessary for the 
performance of the contract between you and Samsung (for example, to provide you with the Business Services and to identify and authenticate you so you may use 
certain Business Services); necessary for Samsung’s legitimate interests (for example, to manage our relationship with you and to improve the Business Services); 


To whom do we disclose your information?

We may disclose your information internally within our business to the relevant teams, such as, without limitation the customer services team, the legal team, 
the finance team, the sales team and where you have chosen to receive marketing messages, to the marketing teams. We may also disclose your information to the 
following entities, only to the extent that this will be necessary to perform the Services:
    • Affiliates. Your information may be shared among Samsung affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. The term ‘affiliates’ refers to
      companies related to Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. by common ownership or control. Our affiliates include companies with the Samsung Electronics name. 
      Affiliates may also include other companies related by common ownership or control, such as Samsung SDS Ltd. 
    • Business Partners. We also may share your information with trusted business partners, including without limitation, wireless carriers, retailers, and 
      distributors. These entities may use your information to provide you with services you request, make predictions about your interests and may provide you 
      with promotional materials, advertisements and other materials with your separate consent.
    • Service Providers. We also may disclose your information to carefully selected companies that provide services for or on behalf of us, such as companies 
      that help us with operation of the Business Services. These entities are limited by contractual provisions in their ability to use your information for 
      purposes other than providing services for us.

    Other Parties When Required by Law or as Necessary to Protect Our Services. 
    There may be instances when we disclose your information to other parties:
    • to comply with the law or respond to compulsory legal process (such as a search warrant or other court order);
    • to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our Services; and
    • to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, or customers.


What do we do to keep your information secure?

We take protection of your data seriously, and have put in place appropriate physical and technical measures to safeguard the information we collect in connection 
with the Business Services. However, please note that although we take appropriate steps to protect your information, no website, Internet transmission, computer 
system or wireless connection is completely secure.  


Where do we transfer your information?

Your use or participation in the Business Services may involve transfer, storage and processing of your information outside of your country of residence, to 
Republic of Korea consistent with this policy. Please note that the data protection and other laws of countries outside the European Economic Area to which your 
information may be transferred might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. We will take appropriate measures, in compliance with applicable law, 
to ensure that your personal information remains protected. Such measures include the use of Standard Contractual Clauses to safeguard the transfer of data outside

Can you access your information?

You may have the right to request details about the information we collect about you, to request us to correct inaccuracies in that information, to request access to 
your information, to object to or request the restriction of processing, to request the erasure or portability of your information. Under the laws of some jurisdictions, 
we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely 
impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. If you would like to make a request to access your information, please contact our customer

If you request deletion of personal information, you acknowledge that you may not be able to access or use the Business Services and that residual personal 
information may continue to reside in Samsung's records and archives for some time in compliance with applicable law, but Samsung will not use that information for 
commercial purposes. You understand that, despite your request for deletion, Samsung reserves the right to keep your personal information, or a relevant part of it, 
in line with our data retention policy and applicable laws, if Samsung has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to the website for violating the Samsung 
Terms of Use, when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, employees or customers.


How long do we keep your information?

We will not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected. This means that data will be destroyed or erased from our systems 
when it is no longer required. We take appropriate steps to ensure that we retain information about you based on the following logic:
    1.  at least the duration for which the information is used to provide you with a service; 
    2.  as required under law, a contract or with regard to our statutory obligations; 
    3.  only for so long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, 


Third-Party Links and Products on Our Services

Our Business Services may link to third-party websites and services that are outside our control. We are not responsible for the security or privacy of any information 
collected by websites or other services. You should exercise caution, and review the privacy statements applicable to the third-party websites and services you use.  
We also make available to you certain products or Business Services developed by third parties. Samsung is not responsible for these third-party products or services. 
Third Parties that Provide Content, Advertising or Functionality on Our Services. Some of the content, advertising, and functionality on our Business Services may be 
provided by third parties that are not affiliated with us. In such circumstances, we have entered into contractual agreements with such third parties.


Cookies, Beacons and Similar Technologies 

We, as well as certain third parties that provide content, advertising, or other functionality on our Business Services, may use cookies, beacons, and other 
technologies in certain areas of our Business Services.  

Cookies
Cookies are small files that store information on your device. They enable the entity that put the cookie on your device to recognize you across different websites, 
services, devices, and/or browsing sessions. Cookies serve many useful purposes. For example:
 
    •  Cookies can remember your sign-in credentials so you don’t have to enter those credentials each time you log on to a service.  
       Cookies help us and third parties understand which parts of our Business Services are the most popular because they help us to see which pages and features
